The Riddle of the Stone
Among the living, among the dead
a terrible mistake, oh such dread!
Earth and bone, seventeen and stone
such a burden, to carry alone.
Walking with worry, I pace and pace
twenty circles, cannot show my face.
One plus one, once more then done
was an easy task, this was the sum.
Instead the numbers flowed, like the tide -
my mind is muddy, my thoughts imbibed.
Waves crash in and out, I count them five
The sum plus two, I pray to stay alive.

Starting July 1 until August 31, the official “Story of the Stone” contest for THE LEGACY - THE GROUNDS OF NACHMASHEEGHAN will commence!
Do you have what it takes to be a Nachmasheeghan? Your Mistress has purposely planted a contest in her latest novel and it is up to you to unravel the mystery surrounding the stone and its secret. Be a Nachmasheeghan and unlock the riddle to reveal your "own legacy".
Contest Rules and Information:
1. Get a copy of THE LEGACY - THE GROUNDS OF NACHMASHEEGHAN and read it from cover to cover.
2. A mystery has been hidden within the story surrounding two dates in question (example: 2007 and 2008). It is up to you to solve it and reveal the two dates.
3. Below is a riddle left by a mysterious “apprentice”. The riddle, along with the story in the Legacy, will lead you to the answers which you seek.
4. Submit the two dates in question along with which one you feel is correct and which one you feel is incorrect.
5. Once you find the dates it will be up to you to create an adventure to tell the “Story of the Stone” and how it came to be.
6. Now sail your tale to TRIAD Publishing Group and make sure it be no longer than 2000 words mateys or it will have to walk to plank!
7. All stories must be submitted to legacy@triadpublishinggroup.com
8. The winning story will be chosen by myself of course and will be published in a special Legacy supplement book to be released in November 2008. That’s right; your story along with my “official” version will be published together!
9. The winner will receive a copy of the supplement along with a special edition Signature Legacy.
